Food Packaging Punch and Die

For the packaging industry we routinely machine components from D2 steel which is then heat treated to increase hardness.  This is then machined via EDM wire erosion and possibly further still using hard-milling techniques.

The majority of packaging materials used by our customers would be PET and APET, although cardboard and other plastics are catered for, as we offer a bespoke design service where we work closely with our customers to produce a specific solution for their needs.

VES is a leading supplier of aftermarkets spares to the packaging industry, and unlike many of our competitors we manufacture and hold a large stock of most punch and knife spares so we can supply immediately.
