Surface & Cylindrical Grinding

For fine surface finishing and high-tolerance dimensions VES Precision has capabilities for both surface and cylindrical grinding.

Grinding is an integral element for our ‘Stellar Technik’ business producing punch and dies for the food packaging industry.

Here we can achieve tolerances of 2 microns.

For larger jobs VES is fortunate to have at its disposal a large-scale Churchill grinding machine.  This machine may be old, but it is built like a tank, is extremely stable and continues to produce results that many modern grinding machines simply cannot match.

The Churchill has been reliably servicing the needs of our customers for many years and the phrase ‘They don’t make ‘em like they used to’ certainly applies in this case.

Our grinding facility includes:

x4 Surface grinding machines with 18” x 6” mag chucks
x1 Surface grinding machine with 24” x 10” mag chuck
x1 Surface grinding machine with 48” x 15” mag chuck
x2 Semi-Automatic cylindrical grinding machines with adjustable head for angled work. Max. size = 90mm diameter x 130mm length
x1 Semi-Automatic cylindrical grinding machine with fixed head. Max. size = 90mm diameter x 130mm length

With multiple surface and cylindrical grinders we have plenty of capacity.
